Unions sign pact with Fair Work Ombudsman to enforce workplace laws
The NUW (National Union of Workers) and SDAEA (Shop, Distributive and Allied Employees Association) have both sighed MoU’s with the Fair Work Ombudsman to help improve compliance with federal workplace laws and to provide a critical evidence base for the FWO to enforcement activities involving serious non-compliance.
In addition to the MoU with the Unions, the Fair Work Ombudsman has recently entered into MoU’s with various employer organisations including the Australian Hotels Association, Restaurant & Catering Australia and the Australian Security Industry Association Ltd.
